Apa Kabar?
"
Apa kabar?" is a very common word in Indonesia. It simply means "
how are you?"or "
how do you do?"
If some Indonesian greets "
Apa Kabar?" to you, the answer is simple, "
kabar baik" or just simply say "
baik"
The other answer can be the followings, with their English term.
Baik-baik saja : It's Ok
Ya Begitulah : Not too bad
Most Indonesian will answer it
positively although maybe sometime they are not in a good condition.
Even if they are a bit not feeling well, they will always say "
baik" or "
fine" and smile at you.
