East Cairo to the New Administrative Capital will be the first line of the project, extending 56,5 km. Sixth of October City will be connected to Giza by a 42-km-long second line. New Capital City and 6th of October City are now connected by mass transit for the first time. With the two lines finished, about 45,000 passengers will be transported per hour at maximum capacity, improving Egypt's mobility dramatically in a safe, sustainable manner.
