Responsibility :
1. The main focus of this position is design review and hence the candidates need to have significant recent experience in undertaking design or design review.
2. The scope of work will include the following:
– Prepare conceptual designs for the electrical systems of medium to large power plants including coal and gas turbine based plants.
– Prepare detailed electrical technical specifications for inclusion in project tender documents.
– Evaluate technical proposals and reports in English.
– Review and comment upon contractors electrical design drawings and documents to check compliance with contract specifications and good engineering practice.
– Conduct meetings and prepare minutes of meeting.

Requirements :
1. Degree in electrical engineering with particular focus on power engineering.
2. Significant knowledge and experience of all aspects of electrical engineering design associated with powerplants including switchyards.
3. Knowledge of IEC and IEEE standards.
4. Experience and capability in using power systems software such as ETAP or similar would be an advantage.
5. Have good inter-personal skills and a proven ability to work alongside colleagues of other disciplines.
6. Fluency in written and spoken English.
